I'm Alive!

Hey Jammers! Mia here. And I guess you could say I have a lot of explaining to do.
But first, let's get this out of the way; I'm here! And I think I'm back to blogging.
For a while, I wasn't sure if I was even still playing AJ. I'm getting older, which means more school work and more of being busy, alongside the fact that I'm a gymnast and recovering from a few severe injuries. On top of that, I also now play another game called Transformice. But, even after taking a long break from AJ, I still feel an attachment to it. A strong one, that will probably never fade. It's a huge piece of me, and a sliver of my childhood that I want to hold on to for a long time. And, even though I'm past the 'suggested age range', I still enjoy the game and of course my friends on it. Honestly, I couldn't leave any of you guys. Ever.
With my thought about staying on AJ for a while, I'm also thinking about coming back and starting this blog up again. I know that on a few of my other blogs I've made claims that I'd come back eventually (and never have), but I feel like I've found an idea that isn't too hard but is also effective.

Anyway, enough with my boring life! :) Here's my bunny, enjoying Night Of The Phantoms. Since my membership has recently expired, I no longer have access to many of my Member costume items, I tried to create a cat costume with what I had.

Updates

Hey Jammers! Mia here. Long time no post. I'm very, very busy currently, so I honestly don't know how often I will ever be able to post here. I'm busy with school and gymnastics... You probably understand the school dilemma, as most of you probably are within that as well, but gymnastics is a bit more complicated. In October, I made the gymnastics team that I had been working so hard toward (prior to that, I did 20 hour-a-week practices during the summer), and since then, I have improved a lot. I'm very happy about that, obviously, but that means that I have less time to do other things - like playing AJ and updating this blog. Which absolutely sucks, because I love you guys and playing AJ. Anyhow, back on the subject of gymnastics, right now [meet] season is happening. Meet season is yet another reason why I am not able to post often here. I'm so sorry-- and sorry for all of the excuses.
Bottom line? I don't have enough time to post here very often. I might go months and months without posting here-- sorry. I doubt anyone still reads AJIK, though, so my absence probably is not a problem.

The Hunger Games - Mockingjays In AJ

Hi Jammers!

Mia here. For those of you that are fans of The Hunger Games (I sure am!!), I created a mockingjay eagle in AJ. I took a few screenshots of it and tried to make it as close to the Mockingjay symbols in each book as possible. If you have not read the books (or seen the movies), here is a referance to the mockingjay pins. Here is what I created:

Book one: The Hunger Games

The classic mockingjay symbol/mockingjay pin symbol. :)

Book two: Catching Fire

The book title itself describes it-- the rebellion is beginning to catch fire, and the mockingjay (which symbolizes the rebellion) is beginning to take flight.

Book three: Mockingjay

This mockingjay shows that the rebellion is in full swing. 

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it! I absolotely LOVE The Hunger Games. :)

A Throwback

Hey Jammers!!

Mia here. Today I re-found my very old account that I used to use during the beta days! I had completely forgot about her, but today I just randomly remembered. I'll post some of the old Jam-A-Grams, and a few other things. :)

 Here she is. I haven't designed her in 3 years, so that's why there is all the pink... xD. Also, her name is "rare" because a few years ago AJHQ decided to remove 'Rosey' from the name choices. However, it was replaced by a new spelling of the word-- 'Rosy'.
Now for the Jam-A-Grams!

 :') oh my zios THE MEMORIES! xD This was a trip down memory lane, and I now realize how much AJ has changed. I wish AJ hadn't changed so much, as I prefer the 'old times'. xD

10 Things to do Around Jamaa

Hey Jammers! Mia here. Today I am going to tell you 10 different things to do when your bored around Jamaa. 

1. Hang out with Buddies

Hanging out with buddies is always fun! :) You can do lots of things together, from going to the Juice Hut, to playing adventures.

      2. Visit Epic Dens

When I am so bored and have honestly run out of options, I go to the Epic Dens. I find that they are actually pretty cool. I don't visit them very often, but when I do I never leave disappointed. :) I mean, they are called epic dens for a reason, right? ;)

      3. Play an Adventure

Adventures are pretty nice! They are always pretty fun, and I love that the Alphas and Phantoms make appearances. There is a perfect adventure for every Jammer! :)

       4. Re-design your Animal
This is a nice way to unleash your creativity (xD). In my opinion, its always fun to re decorate your animals. Its a creative and fun way to pass time. lol

       5. Re-design your den
Another creative way to pass time. Always great to refresh your den. ;)

      6. Play a Game

Games are a fun (and sometimes annoying...) way to earn gems, and of course then you can go on a shopping spree! xD

                          

       7. Go on a shopping Spree

After you have worked so hard on the game, Its time to spend those gems! :P This relates to designing your animals, as you could use new items for their design! :D

       8. Troll Random Jammers (Its not evil, its actually pretty fun. xD)
Not trying to be evil here, in fact, trolling is sort of fun. xDD Just walk up to a random (clueless) jammer and start saying things like "OMG can i get your autograph?!" or "I LOVE YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEOS OMG!!!!!!!!!!" lol!

       9. Earn Achievements
Just another simple way to pass time. xD

      10. Complete your Journey Book

A way to have fun, work your brain, and get prizes. :D

No, I'm Not Dead.

Hey Jammers!

   Oh my Zios! Long time no post. :C
Anyway, i'm not honestly sure if I should be making an updates post of all the reasons why I was gone, or something, but for now I just wanted to tell you something-- I'm not dead! I feel horrible for not posting in forever, and hope that the few of you who still read this blog/check it accept my apologies. I'll give you the one minute version of why I have been gone; School. Gymnastics. No time to go on AJ or blog. :(

I might be able to post more this summer, and I hope that I will, however I am training at gymnastics 15-20 hours a week all summer so again, I'm honestly not sure how often I will be able to do anything else but tend to my injuries... /:
Anyway. I hope you understand, that is, if anyone is reading this. Hopefully I will be able to post and go on AJ more this summer, but I don't make any promises.

Costume Party!

Hey Jammers! Mia here. Today I was at my den and randomly started a Night of the Phantoms costume party with some buddies! It actually turned into something bigger than I imagined xD. Here are some pictures!

 I had the Jammer Anthem music playing and since this event was mostly buddies and Jammers I've met before, Mimkid82 liked it. xD

Testing New Themes

Hey Jammers! Mia here. Today I have been testing some different headers and backgrounds for Animal Jam Is Kool ~ Night of the Phantoms Theme. So if the blog looks strange or mismatched for a little while, that is the reasoning. I'll most likely delete this post and make a recent update post. The update was yesterday so I'll be doing that soon. Also, I'm sick. D:

Tour of the AJ Birthday Party!

Hey Jammers! Mia here, today I am going to give you a tour of the new AJ Birthday party!

 Here is the bottom level, with all the pretty Alpha statues. Hello there Peck! :D

 Bronze Alpha statues! I absolutely love these statues. I have bought as many as my poor inventory can take. :( xD

 Finally, on the top level there is a giant three candle, If you click that candle you will get you're very own slice of cake! Sorry for lack of photos, I took these a couple of days ago so I cant exactly go back and take more. xD

New Chapter on The Life of a Gymnast!

New update!

Hey Jammers! Mia here! With some exciting news, the first thing is I got a new screenshot thing! My old one broke as I talked about in my last post and I found a new and even better one. :D
Anyway, today was the update! Today I am going to show you briefly todays update!

AJ's 3rd birthday! Happy bday to AJ! ^.^

Yay! The phantom portal adventure is now for everyone! Yippee! :)

AJ Birthday Party! YAY! A tour of that will come soon. New code: ajbday3 gives you a 3th birthday cake, as picture on the right. xD

The new medical center! Nothing like the beta-ish one, but it's pretty okay. Popular so far. Wind armor! Not really new, but AJHQ has a tendency to repeat things from past updates and call them new....

There are now adventure invites, I still wish there could be private adventures, but I guess it will help us not have to retry adventures over and over... believe me, it's quite a hassle. The adventure camp shop is now open! Pictures are at the end of the post, btw. xD

Yay! Print and play alpha pictures, quite nice. The AJ animator has released a video of how to draw an AJ bunny! I watch it over and over again for no exact reason. xDD

Meet Cosmo hard mode! Must be pretty hard, considering normal mode is hard... Elephants are back! I hope Giraffes and Rhinos come back soon...

 Finally, it's fall in Jamaa! Yay! I cant wait for the Jamaalidays. Sorry I am rushed here. ^.^

The adventure base camp shop sells trapped phantoms, much like the monthly gift from october a couple of years back, caged phantoms....
